Savings plans that hold up in practice

Built around doing, not watching

Each of the 8 weeks introduces 1–2 planning tools through real scenario work. Participants leave with a personal savings framework they have already tested, not just read about.

Six stages, one working plan

The program follows a fixed sequence because each stage depends on what came before. Skipping ahead produces plans that look complete but fall apart under real spending pressure.

Mapping your current cash flow

Before setting any target, participants record 30 days of actual spending. Most find at least 3 categories where estimates were off by more than 20%.

Setting a time horizon that fits

Savings goals without deadlines drift. This stage uses a 3-horizon model — 6 months, 2 years, and 5 years — to separate goals that need different strategies.

Choosing a contribution structure

Fixed amount, percentage of income, or residual saving — each works differently depending on income regularity. Participants model all 3 against their own numbers.

Stress-testing against disruptions

A plan that only works under ideal conditions is fragile. This stage runs 4 disruption scenarios — job gap, large unexpected cost, income cut, and rate change.

Automating the decision points

Manual discipline breaks down under stress. Participants set up 5 automated triggers — transfer rules, review dates, and threshold alerts — that keep the plan running without daily attention.

A 90-day review after the program ends

Three months after the final session, participants return for a structured check-in. This is where plans get adjusted based on what actually happened, not what was expected.

Collaborative exercise during a savings plan workshop session

What the format actually looks like

Sessions run twice a week for 90 minutes each. About 40 minutes of that is structured exercise time — not lecture. Groups stay below 12 people so feedback is specific, not generic.

All materials are available asynchronously for participants from regions with unreliable scheduling. The program has been running since 2020 and has been adjusted 4 times based on participant feedback.

  • Live sessions with a facilitator, not pre-recorded video
  • Personal spreadsheet templates calibrated to Polish income patterns
  • Peer review of each participant's plan at weeks 4 and 8
  • Access to all session recordings for 12 months after completion
  • Written feedback on your final plan from the lead facilitator
